Thanks Carrie
Actually I did speak to the deputy principal about this matter along with matters that the psychiatrist wanted me to put in place. However, I really didn't get much help from them.

There are many special needs children at the boys school and many of them will get away with a lot because of their needs. However, as Corey hasn't been officially 'diagnosed' with Aspergers it's like they are just not interested. Without an official diagnosis they don't get funding so they don't want to put in the effort I don't think.

HI,
I just have logged onto this blog for the first time. I just finished reading your blogs and I have to say the one where the 2 boys were picking on your son and kicking him; yes he had ever right for self defense. I do not beleive that he should have detention for defending himself. he may feel as if he did something wrong. So if in your heart that your child has been done wrong; you need to take a stand. I am not trying to preach or saying that you are a bad parent. I have a 8 year old son who is ADHD w/ ODD & a daughter who is 7 who is ODD w/ conduct disorder. With administrators knowing of what problems students have sometimes they become a target. My question to you is did the other 2 boys receive a punishment for strating the fight?
