Why Did I Let Him Convince Me Again?

Author: I must be crazy, he does it all the time and still I manage to give in. Corey is home today, convinced me that he was sick and yet what is he doing right at this very moment – he is outside kicking the football.
Lachlan is home today with a sore throat and I need to take him to the doctors to get his asthma checked, so Corey just happened to be sick too. I am pretty sure he just can’t stand for someone else to stay home from school without him staying home too. He has done this a few times recently and always when one of the other boys is home sick.
A couple of weeks ago Ben was home for a week with really bad tonsilitis and of course Corey managed to chuck a sicky one day that week also.
He really puts it on in the mornings too, he gets out of bed and then goes back to bed and just acts so sick. One of these days he is really going to be sick and I’m not going to believe him.
I think I am just crazy that I fall for it every time – grrrrr
